Baha’i kids visit hospital in the Solomon Islands
Written by ry on March 15th, 2005From the Solomon Star News.
“OVER 30 children from the Baha’i Faith trade their play time to visit sick children at National Referral Hospital’s Children’s Ward on Friday as part of the church’s pre-new year celebration.
Accompanied by their teachers and parents, the children prayed for the little ones who are sick, sang songs and presented gifts to them.
…A parent looking after her son who is admitted at the hospital said she was glad that the Baha’i Faith children visited because it had put a smile on her sick son’s face.
“The visitation is really good because it shows how much these Baha’i children care for the sick,” the mother said last Friday.”
