Stamps to mark 50 years of the Baha’i Faith in the Solomon Islands
The Baha’i community of the Solomon Islands has just released three new stamps to comemorate the 50th anniversary of the Faith in the country.
From the Solomon Star:
The stamps features the founder, Mr Alvin and Mrs Gertrude Blum, The Earth is one Country and Unites Mankind.
Design by Riswan Saunders, the stamps depict the very history of the church and message of spiritual oneness of mankind and unity in diversity in the earth.
The story also gives an overview of the early years of the Faith in the islands.
Shots of the stamps when I can find them.

I tried to do it about Portuguese speaking countries.
Cape vert also celebraqted 50 years of the Baha’i Faith. I published an article on the history of the Faith in Cape Vert Islands (writen by a Baha’i who lived there for a while).
I am also trying to collect memories from baha’is who lived in Angola and Mozambique before the independence.
But looking to he stories of all these people who moved to other countries o spread the Faith, I came up with a feeling that they were a generation of heros. :-)
