Baha’i summer school in the newspaper

Written by ry on August 2nd, 2005

Continuing on the theme of: We-have-no-idea-why-this-would-be-in-a-newspaper-but-we-kind-of-like-it is this little nugget from the Belfast Telegraph:

A Londonderry teenager was one of the speakers at the recent Northern Ireland Baha’i summer school.

Colin Palin, a 19-year-old information technology student at Magee, gave a detailed presentation at the event, which was held at Craigavad, Co Down.

He spoke about how computer technology can be used as a means of communicating and sharing ideas with others.

He said: “The event was made up of a very diverse group of people and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take a session.”

I have to say though, we here at Baha’i blog loved the topic of his session. We just wish we could have been there.
