Roll out the red carpets and throw another shrimp on the Barbie! (will you australians ever get tired of that joke?) To kick off the mad rush to get films screened in time for the Oscars, the Harmony Film Festival (formerly the Australian Baha’i Film Festival) will be screening its 14 finalists (from a total of 25 entries) at the Silverwater Baha’i Centre in Sydney on October 22nd at 7:30pm.
Tickets are be available for advance booking on the website for $10 or the lazy types among you can pay $15 at the door. If you want to be a sissy and only go if your mate’s film made it in, you can see a list of the finalists here.

(the shot over there on the right is from ‘The Glass Island’ a film by Alexander Avilov)
