Here's a translation:

In Iran, the members of this significant religious minority are forbidden from attending university. Fifteen intellectuals and scientists from France and elsewhere issue a call for an end to this intolerable discrimination.

Newspapers have recently reported the outrage of the governments of numerous coutnries including our own, when Mahmoud Adhmadinejad declared on October 26, 2005 the desire to erase Israel from the map. This declaration of the newly-elected president of the Islamic Republic of Iran shoudn't surprise anyone. It only reveals that which is the foundation of the new Iranian society. For 25 years, the Iranian Islamic regime has been denying the existence of those it does not wish to see, whether they live outside Iran or on its soil.
