I have no idea how I could have missed this, but it seems that today is World Religion Day! Started by the American Baha’is way back in 1949 to emphasize the common denominators underlying all religions, it’s celebrated every year on the third Sunday in January. So check the calendar for events in your neighborhood and if you can’t find anything (and if you’re anywhere but the US, Canada, Cypress, France, the UK or Australia you won’t) just call up your friends, pack a picnic lunch and head down to the park* for a bit of World Religion Day fun.

*this being January and all, anyone that lives a little too far north might want to just stay home and send them an e-card instead.
