Josemat

Written by ry on January 16th, 2006

So a few months back I took a little trip to Uganda for a little fun and sun and Baha’i adventuring. While I was there I had the chance to meet up with an old friend, Joseph Sematimba. Joseph had been busy recording an album and shooting some music videos since last I had seen him under the name Josemat. The album is still, last I heard, unreleased, but the videos were playing for a while on East Africa Television. Anyway, as a little mp3 gift for all you faithful readers I bring you Josemat’s Lwaki, a catchy little tune about backbiting (if I remember correctly, my Luganda really isn’t what it could be) Oh, and you should grab it while you can, I’m going to be pulling down the link in a couple of weeks.

What a really great feel-good song. I would TOTALLY pay for something from him if he put it out!

PS: Just wanted to say that I’m very excited I found your website [thanks to a friend]. Yay!
