Quilt spreads message about the ‘Power of Unity’
The story has been up at the US Baha’i News site for a little over a month now, but a friend whose mother had a hand in creating this beautiful quilt brought it to my attention just last week.
The quilt, called “Power of Unity”, incorporates symbols from the world’s religions as well as quotes from the Baha’i writings and was created and made under the auspices of the Boston-based Faith Quilts Project by four Boston-area Baha’is (including the mother of my aforementioned friend). It will be on exhibit in April at the Boston Center for the Arts and has graced the cover of the 2005 Massachusetts edition of the Catalogue for Philanthropy, which goes to households throughout that state.

Nice post, I actually know some of the ladies involved in this project. What an amazing way to proclaim the Faith. Thanks.
