As someone who’s had the opportunity to travel a whole lot over the years, I’ve had the fortune of attending a variety of different Baha’i-related gatherings around the world, and one of the things I’ve enjoyed immensely is being able to listen to songs performed by members of these various communities, who have been moved to put the Sacred Baha’i Writings to music.
I’ve always wished others could hear these songs, and so now we’ve started what we call Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” in order to share some of these beautiful compositions with the rest of the world. In this new series of videos found on our YouTube Channel, we invite individuals or groups to come into the studio to perform a song or two while we record and film it.
In our very first Studio Session episode, we start things off in Sydney, Australia, with a song called “What A Power Is Love” performed by sisters Shireen and Carmel Zein.
We want these songs to serve as a resource for you and your community, so you can find the song lyrics — meaning the Baha’i Writings used — and the chords to the song in the text below the video on our YouTube Channel. You can also download the audio version of the song from Baha’i Blog’s Soundcloud page too!
We hope you enjoy this new series, and please subscribe to Baha’i Blog’s YouTube Channel to get updates on new Baha’i-inspired videos like this one and more.
This is awesome!! I feel so uplifted, and am so impressed with the artistry of the video, and also the musicians 🙂

So beautiful & clean. What a great idea. I like the cinematography & the harmonies in this first session. Can’t wait to see what’s to come, Naysan! [Will you be touring us around the world? Cause that’d be amazing / enlightening / inspiring…]
we are about to produce a singbook with CD, with Young Friends who put music to the Holy Words – but it is in Swedish, and some in English.
wounderful

Btw, I am the composer of the melody of Blessed is the Spot and really enjoyed the Spanish Bendito recording.
