Excellent trivia quiz! I always love these. Got 60%… So I technically passed…. Haha. Got questions 3,6,7 & 10 wrong. What do u mean by the “Spiritual Axis”?
Hi Shamim, glad you enjoy the trivia, and 60% ain’t too bad. I’m not going to give too much away about the ‘Spiritual Axis’, as I don’t want to give the answer away, but it’s a name Shoghi Effendi uses in reference to a certain geographical region of the world.
Hey Naysan. Just a quick suggestion? Maybe last question change Latin America for Central America? Because Panama is the mother temple for Central America and Chile is the mother temple for South America, and Latin America is a concept that goes from Mexico all the way down to central and south america. =)
Hey Neysan, that was meant to be a trick question, as I’m aware of the difference between, Latin, South and Central America, but I’ll make it a bit more clear. Thanks!
Excellent the way it is!
I was floored by the spiritual axis question too! Will you let us know in due course? Loved the quiz, and although I got all the rest right, some of the qustions needed some thinking about
Glad you enjoyed the quiz, Louise! We don’t want to give away too much about the “spiritual axis” but stay tuned for a post about it in the next few weeks! (Hint: it’s a name Shoghi Effendi uses in reference to a certain geographical region of the world.) 😉
Well done! More questions please. What is the prize?
Glad you enjoyed it! Your prize is that you get to enjoy many more quizes on Baha’i Blog. 😉 Stay tuned for more!
The quiz is a fun way to test our knowledge – good idea. The anniversaries of the three Houses of Worship this year have been a good opportunity to reflect on their effect on the world and the circumstances in which they were built.
Glad you enjoyed it, Yvonne! Stay tuned for more.
Ooooh, fun! This was my first intro. to the website. So glad I found it! 60%. Not too shabby…although to be honest, some were guesses 🙂 Great work, will definitely share with friends.
Good job, Dawn! Glad you enjoyed it and so glad you came across Baha’i Blog! Where did you find out about this blog? Please share the quiz with your friends if you think they’ll enjoy a good trivia question or two.
This Trivia Quiz is a good way to keep you on your toes. i thought i knew it all and i made 4 banal mistakes. goes to show that a bit of humility is always good.

Thanks again Sally!
I tallied a score of 70%. Its astonishing how many Houses of Worship have been completed in the last century. Baha’i geometry is boundless!
On the spiritual axis, remembered from studies past is the magnetic axis between Japan and Australia. So one House is in Sydney, Australia, the other might be the Apia Samoa white sailed inspiration. That’s two, but the longitude could be miscalculated. We’ll need to see a globe. Also the Shrine of the Bab is the spiritual epicenter of nine concentric circles, the outermost circle is the planet itself. Also the Beloved Guardian passed away in 1957, the International Geophysical Year.
Loved It! More of these quiz questions Please, Please, Please!!
Loved it! Got 80%. I counted all the “existing” Houses of Worship in Question 3. Ha, tricky! And I’d also not heard of the Spiritual Axis before, though I almost guessed 2. Sigh… 🙂 Alan and I have a goal to sing in every national House of Worship and we just have Kampala and Santiago left. 🙂
Got 100%…. but since I wrote a children’s workbook with a world map activity on the Houses of Worship with a matching key… had a big advantage…. have to get the workbook published!!! Thanks N.
Dear Naysan. Thank you !!!! This Quiss and all Are so great ! The Right answer would be great to have as a great deepening tool.
With so many houses of worship, local and national popping up, the question about how many have been completed would be clearer if it gave a date. The only complete HoW my wife and I have not yet got to, as of November 2020, is the Samoan temple – which is strange because I lived in Vanuatu for some years! 🙂
Hi Bryn,
That’s an excellent point! Thank you for mentioning it. We have modified the quiz accordingly.
