Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
Mr. Hooper Dunbar presents a talk called “The Ocean of Revelation: Dynamic Source of All Learning” at the 2013 Association for Baha’i Studies North America Conference in Irvine, California, USA.
Mr. Dunbar is a former member of the Universal House of Justice, which is the international governing council of the Baha’i Faith.
