Identity and the Spiritual Journey in the Badi Calendar – A Talk by Dr. Nader Saiedi

You know we love Baha’i talks here on Baha’i Blog, and now thanks to the Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Santa Monica, California, we’re happy to share with everyone a great talk given by Professor Nader Saiedi called “Identity and the Spiritual Journey in the Badi Calendar”.

Last year, the Universal House of Justice sent a letter to the global Baha’i community implementing the worldwide adoption of the Baha’i calendar, known to Baha’is as the Badi calendar, and in this 99 minute talk, Professor Saiedi explains and reflects on various aspects of its nature and history.

  1. I have repeatedly listened to this talk and would like to send Dr. Saiedi an email thanking him for his works. Do you have his email?
    Thank you!
    Cora

    1. Hi Cora, unfortunately I don’t have his email, but I think you can email the National Baha’i Office of the United States and ask them to pass on your message and your contact details. Hope that helps! 🙂

  2. I Ayyam-i-Ha considered a separate month ?

So, for instance, which date is 1 month after Mulk 1st ? Is it the first day of Ayyam-i-Ha of ‘Ala’ 1st ?

    Thanks

  3. Hi: Several Baha’i close friends have called my attention to “Naomi Klein” who has written several books on social and political issues. How can we share some of Dr Nader Saiedi”s discussion on World Unity with her? It would probably be best coming from him directly.
