Festival of Ridvan

  • Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.

Stevie Iwaszko’s Visit to Key West

September 16, 2016, in Videos > Documentary, by

Only a week after Stevie Iwaszko accepted the message of Baha’u’llah, he set out on a journey to affirm his new found faith and meet Baha’is from around the world.

This video depicts one section of his trip in Key West, Florida, after having only been introduced to the Baha’i Faith and declared a Baha’i for a week. His adventurous spirit and desire to serve caused him to visit communities throughout Canada, the US and around Central America. He, as well as other traveling Baha’is like Gustaff Besungu, helped invigorate local communities and start programs for junior youth, youth, Ruhi study circles, and prayer gatherings.
