Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Vancouver, Canada with Roya Bennett who sings “The Nightingale of Affection” from the Writings of Baha’u’llah.

This song was filmed and recorded in Vancouver, Canada, January 2017.
Here is the quotation used for the lyrics:
“O FRIEND! In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. Treasure the companionship of the righteous and eschew all fellowship with the ungodly.”
– Baha’u’llah
