Social Media | A Million Likes Don’t Manifest Love | Raha Lewis

In this talk produced by Bahaiteachings.org, attorney and entertainment journalist Raha Lewis explores the benefits and the pitfalls of using social media. She explains how she stopped focusing on social media in order to build a true and loving network of real friends, based on this Baha’i teaching: “Love manifests its reality in deeds, not only in words”.

  1. A beautiful moving talk, brought tears to my eyes a few times 🙂
    I saw a beautiful short YouTube : https://youtu.be/qUWP0TafPN8
was really ouched by what this beatiful fmily has been expereincing, so I connected to Farah his mom by Facebook. Adib is a great young man who too young and unexpectadly was called upon to serve from the next dimonsion on the first day of the opening of the House of Worship in Chili, Adib was at his pioneerings post to the north of Sydney!

    1. Thank you for sharing your experience creating a meaningful connection on Facebook, Mahasti. We are truly sorry to hear of Adib’s passing but are grateful that Facebook allowed you to connect with his family during this sorrowful time. Thank you.

  2. I just want to add to my previous comment. Social Media also help (like having a meaningful connection). I think what one should have is moderation in using it. And using it positively. May we all acquire divine inspiration and blessings during this Month of The Fast.
