Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Manzini, Eswatini with Sanele Nhlabatsi and Xolani Tsele who sing “Maye Mngani (O Friend)” in siSwati from the Writings of Baha’u’llah.

Here is the quotation used for the lyrics in siSwati and in English, followed by the chords:
“MAYE MNGANI! Engadzeni yenhlitiyo yakho ungatshali lutfo ngephandle kwembali yelutsandvo, nasenyoni lengumzwilili welutsandvo nenshisekokelo ungakucekisi kubambelela kwakho. Bente ligugu buhlobo bakho nalabalungile, ukubalekele kuhlobana nalababi.” – Baha’u’llah
“O FRIEND! In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. Treasure the companionship of the righteous and eschew all fellowship with ungodly.” – Baha’u’llah
Repeat: Em G D C
