As Baha’is around the world prepare to commemorate the Martyrdom of the Bab in a few days, and with the bicentenary of the Birth of the Bab around the corner, I wanted to share that five new video clips of aerial footage of the Shrine of the Bab, located in Haifa, Israel, have recently been added to the Baha’i Media Bank, and from what I can tell, it’s the first time video has been added to the collection.
The Baha’i Media Bank is an official website of the Baha’i World Centre, and it’s a great place to find a wide range of photographs relating to things like Baha’i history, holy places, events and activities.
Four of the five video clips of aerial footage show the Shrine of the Bab at different angles, while the fifth video clip is a montage of some of these four clips edited together. I was so excited when I discovered the new aerial footage of the Shrine of the Bab, that I quickly created a short video of the montage set to music, which some of you may have already seen, but I’ve included it at the bottom of this post as well.
1. Aerial footage #1 of the Shrine of the Bab.
2. Aerial footage #2 of the Shrine of the Bab.
3. Aerial footage #3 of the Shrine of the Bab.
4. Aerial footage #4 of the Shrine of the Bab.
5. Aerial footage compilation of the Shrine of the Bab.
General photographs of the Shrine of the Bab (including the aerial footage) can be found on this page: Buildings & Places – Haifa Area: Shrine of the Bab and Terraces
Here’s the video I created using the video montage from the Baha’i Media Bank, and music purchased from Audio Jungle, a great place to purchase licence-free music for your audio-visual projects. (It should be noted that I am an employee of Envato, the company behind Audio Jungle, however this is by no means an ad for the site. I simply wanted to share the resource I used in case it’s of help to anyone).
