Why Did We Create Baha’i Blog TV (BBTV)?

As many of you already know, Baha’i Blog is passionate about Baha’i-inspired media content, and one of the things we’ve been doing since Baha’i Blog first started nine years ago, is to both create original Baha’i-inspired content, and to also help share and promote content created by others, all, therefore, contributing to the growing ecosystem of Baha’i-inspired content online.

The Baha’i Blog website already has a video section, and several years ago we launched Baha’i Blog’s YouTube channel, and over the years Baha’i-inspired video content has been slowly, but surely growing, and we wanted a place where we could really showcase that, and make it easily accessible. Since over 50% of people online use hand-held devices to access their content worldwide (and this number continues to grow), we thought it was time for Baha’i Blog (BBTV)!

BBTV continues to be a work-in-progress, and we hope to be able to continue to contribute to the diversity of Baha’i-inspired media and content out there, so we really appreciate your support!

Please download the app, and when you do, it would be helpful if you could rate the app on the App Store as well, as this really helps with exposure.

A big thank you to everyone for your support and we hope you find Baha’i Blog TV (BBTV) useful!

  1. Will you be creating BBTV app for Android users, soon I hope? My friend and I often use music from BB for our Feasts, and this would be an additional great resource. Thank you for all you are doing! – Marian

    1. Would like to, but not sure if/when yet. Getting this done was hard and expensive enough for now. Please sign up to the email list and follow us on Facebook if you haven’t already to be updated in case we do. Thank you!

  2. Great work! And understandable the termedious effort you already are exerting. But hope you get hand from someone to take up the Android version. We need it.

  3. Dear friends, Your tireless and innovative service is admirable and so very much appreciated!! God bless!

  4. Thank you for this app! One thing I’d suggest would be the option of allowing users to submit videos, whether straight uploads like Youtube—via a moderated process—or by sending videos for the team to review and upload when necessary.

Perhaps something to consider down the line!

    1. Thanks Criselda! Yes, we’ll see what we can do as far as making it available on Android pending time and cost. Thanks as always for your support and encouragement! 🙂

  5. I know it has been said before but just letting you know there are a lot of people that don’t use the iPhone and an Android app would be appreciated. I know it costs a lot of money to create an app so I get that you had to choose one to build first. Can’t wait to try it out when the Android app is available.

    1. Thanks for the message and yes, as you mentioned, we are very aware of that. Indeed it’s not only an expensive undertaking but extremely time consuming too, and hopefully, you can appreciate that. We haven’t announced it just yet, but if you search for “Baha’i Blog TV” in the Google Play store, you’ll find it there now.
