The Refuge [Trailer]

Aziz Tebyanian has created a short film called The Refuge and this is its trailer. The Refuge shares the story of Maryam, who is thrown out of her home and is given refuge by a neighbor. There, she finds out a truth that she has to come to grips with.

Aziz was born in Iran, but in 2001 he immigrated to Canada as a refugee. In addition to living in Iran and Canada, he has lived in Turkey, China, and the United States. He currently lives with his wife in Seattle, Washington.

His last short narrative film, The Sweet Seashore, was an Official Selection at the Beirut International Film Festival, which is the main film festival of Lebanon. You can watch The Sweet Seashore here on Baha’i Blog.
