Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
Baha’i Blog Studio Sessions is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Friends in Malaysia (Satchit Ananda, Harvin Mageyndren, Sharlene Rani, Shalynn Subromaniam, Nishana Rajan and Prasad VS) who sing “Chal Wel Deh (Say God Sufficeth) (Katakanlah)” in Semai, Bahasa Melayu and in English, from the Writings of the Bab.
This song was filmed and recorded in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 2019.
Here is the quotation used for the lyrics in Semai, Bahasa Melayu and in English, followed by the chords:
