Australia Launches Website for the Centenary of the Ascension of Abdu’l-Baha

A new website dedicated to the commemoration of the centenary of the Ascension of Abdu’l-Baha has recently been launched by the Office of External Affairs of the Baha’is of Australia. As this year marks the 100th anniversary of the passing of Abdu’l-Baha, Baha’is in Australia and around the world are commemorating this historic occasion in various ways, and this new website aims to showcase how Australian Baha’is and their friends are marking this period.

Friends from across Australia are encouraged to submit expressions of how they are commemorating this time which the Universal House of Justice states has a “special potency.” Whether you’re engaged in service or community projects and initiatives, or are commemorating and paying tribute to Abdu’l-Baha through various forms of artistic expression such as photography, paintings, music, poetry, and story-telling, the Office of External Affairs would love to hear from you!

Check out the website here: www.abdul-baha.bahai.org.au.

And if you’re a part of the Australian Baha’i community or a friend based in Australia, then please forward your submission for review and publishing via this online form.
