100 Years (Honoring Abdu’l-Baha) – Ali Youssefi

November 24, 2021, in Music > Recording Artist, by

‘100 Years’ is a song by Ali Youssefi that pays homage to Abdu’l-Baha (son of the prophet founder of the Baha’i Faith), a figure whose life inspired and continues to inspire millions of people around the world and whose example and teachings of peace act as a shining lamp.

Ali Youssefi is a musician whose songs move the heart. You may be familiar with his global musical initiatives “Unite” or his song “Waves”.

You can watch an interview with Ali here: Baha’i Blog Interviews Ali Youssefi

You can also read this written interview with Ali about “Waves” here on Baha’i Blog: WAVES – A New Global Musical Collaboration by Ali Youssefi

Ali was also critical in helping us film Baha’i Blog Studio Sessions in Belgrade, Serbia (where he was living at the time), and from these sessions you can watch him singing “Jedinstvo (Unity)” in Serbian,  “Oh Mi Siervo (O My Servant)” in Spanish, and “Know Ye Not” in English. He also sings “Blessed Is the Spot” along with Katie and Deborah Eckert from our Studio Session recorded in Antigua and Barbuda.
