Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.

Lyrics & Quote

He is God. O thou who seekest after the Kingdom! Be hopeful of the favors of thy Lord, and despair not of the severe calamities of this world. Praise God that thou dost have a kind Lord, Who healeth every sick one and showeth compassion to every afflicted one. He is the refuge to the orphan and the helper to those who have no one; infinitely loving is He. Shouldst thou know how kind and tender is the heart of Abduʼl-Baha, so intense would thy joy and gladness be that thou wouldst surely take flight, and thy cry of “Oh, how blessed am I!” would reach the pinnacle of the heavens.

This prayer is one of my favorite ones. Thank you for chanting and the provision translation in English for non Persian speakers.
