Ridvan, also known as the Most Great Festival, celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in the garden of Ridvan on the outskirts of Baghdad in 1863 when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.

9 Ridvan Resources & Templates!

April 16, 2025, in Articles > Holy Days & Baha'i Calendar, by

With Ridvan just around the corner, I’d like to mention a few resources and templates (crafts, games, music, invitations and so much more) that you can find online. I’m sure there are others and I’m hoping you’ll add them to the comment section below!

1. To kick off this short list, I’d like to highlight our Ridvan collection, which contains articles, music and videos about the Most Great Festival.

Over the years we have created special collections dedicated to each and every one of the significant anniversaries and holy days in the Baha’i year, as well as repertoires of content related to the Central Figures of the Faith. You can find them all in the “Explore” section of Baha’i Blog!

2. Supporting the Core Activities is a resource-rice website created by Julie Iraninejad and it includes a robust collection of music and crafts for Ridvan.

3. Bre Vader’s incredible website, Hasten Baha’is, has a stunning visual library of programs, presentations, book marks, gift tags and more, all related to the King of Festivals.

4. Melissa Charepoo of Delighted Hearts has several lovely colouring pages for Ridvan that she designed. She also has an Etsy shop of digitally downloadable decorations for a variety of Holy Days.

5. Leanna of All Done Monkey has compiled an excellent list of Ridvan resources for children and families.

6. Corbin Doak of Baha’i Ideas has all manner of customizable templates for holy day invitations–and so much more!

7. Andrea Hope has a vibrant Etsy shop of downloadable Ridvan games.

8. Jamie of A Gladsome Heart sells Ridvan posters and decorations on Etsy.

9. Last but not least (we mentioned this in our recent newsletter but we’re itching to feature it again), Cherie has also created three customizable Ridvan templates: you can access and edit the fountainrose and ocean themed invitation templates all on Canva in order to tailor them to match the nature and needs of your celebrations.

I know I’m missing many, many other templates and resources out there! Please feel free to comment below.

Happy preparations for the Festival of Ridvan!
