Baha’is believe in the power of prayer and you’ll find Baha’is and their friends, throughout the world, getting together to pray. This is often referred to as a ‘devotional gathering’ or ‘devotional meeting’, and they happen in diverse settings, whether in cities or villages.
The Baha’i Faith is blessed with an enormous volume of beautiful writings from its central figures – The Bab, Baha’u’llah, and ‘Abdu’l-Baha. Baha’is are fond of quoting passages from these writings for inspiration, guidance and wisdom. With the advent of social media, Baha’is have also been sharing their favourites on sites like Twitter (a great source there is @Bahai_Quote) and more recently on Instagram in image form. We’ve collected ten of our favourite quotes in image form for your enjoyment along with a few links at the bottom to find and share more. If you want to make your own, take a look at our tutorial on How to Make Inspiring Baha’i Quotes in Images.
“O My servants! Were ye to discover the hidden, the shoreless oceans of My incorruptible wealth, ye would, of a certainty, esteem as nothing the world, nay, the entire creation.” – Baha’u’llah (Read more of this quote at the Baha’i Reference Library)

Why link the images to some other website other than Instagram itself? The website you are linking to currently has a LOAD of ads and besides the ads being annoying, the website makes money from the original creators – kindly correct your links – thanks!
Good point! I’ve fixed all those up. I’d used Iconosquare to search instagram, but you’re right it’s a much more pleasant experience to be directed to the creator’s actual instagram accounts!

Beautiful words but incorrectly attributed. The prayer, “Create in me a pure heart, O my God…etc” is from Baha’u’llah, not Abdu’l-Baha.

Thanks Jim – good catch, I’ve corrected it, don’t know how I missed that!
