June 18, 2023 will mark 40 years since 10 Baha’i women were hanged in Shiraz. Their only ‘crime’ was their refusal to renounce their beliefs in a faith that promotes the principles of gender equality, unity, justice, and truthfulness. “Allahumma” is the eighth song from the European Baha’i Choral Festival that was held from May 29 – June 2, 2019 at the Baha’i House of Worship in Langenhain, Germany. This Arabic song was composed by Bijan Khadem-Missagh, arranged by Tom Price, and conducted by Ameli Dziemba. The song is based on a prayer revealed by the Bab.
