In the Baha’i teachings marriage is referred to as “a fortress for wellbeing” and family is considered a fundamental and indispensable unit of society and the mainstay of community life.
“Abide” is a song by Victoria Jane Leith. It is based on the marriage vow, “We will all, verily, abide by the Will of God,” and the following words of Abdu’l-Baha:
What a power is love! […] Love gives life to the lifeless. Love lights a flame in the heart that is cold. Love brings hope to the hopeless and gladdens the hearts…
And:
Make Thou this marriage to be as threading lights of Thine abounding grace
You may recognize Victoria from our Studio Sessions “Lion Roar”, “Tiny Seed” and “I Loved Thy Creation”, renditions of which are also included on her sweet album, Make Me to Grow.
