Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
“Kindliness, Humility, Lowliness” is a song based on a poem by Rumi in which he writes, “Your acts of kindness are iridescent wings of Divine Love which linger and continue to uplift others long after your sharing”.
This music video is one of the songs from the Baha’i Feasts and Holy Days Songbook and its singers are the a cappella group from Toronto, Canada called Countermeasure. The song was arranged by Aaron Jensen, the video was produced by Jack Lenz and Elijah Marchand, and edited by Elijah Marchand as well. In her innermost heart, Sonjel is a stay-at-home parent and a bookworm with a maxed out library card but professionally she is a museologist with a background in English Literature. She currently lives on Prince Edward Island, an isle in the shape of a smile on the eastern Canadian coast. Sonjel is a writer who loves to listen to jazz when she's driving at night.
