Baha’is believe in the power of prayer and you’ll find Baha’is and their friends, throughout the world, getting together to pray. This is often referred to as a ‘devotional gathering’ or ‘devotional meeting’, and they happen in diverse settings, whether in cities or villages.
This melody, sung in Arabic by Saba Jaberi, is inspired by the last paragraph of the 2023 Ridvan Message from the Universal House of Justice where it says, “Copious are the blessings that a benevolent Lord has chosen to bestow upon His loved ones. Lofty is the calling, magnificent the prospect. Pressing are the times in which we have all been summoned to serve.”
The English translation of the words sung in Arabic are:
Copious Copious are the blessings
That were bestowed upon the loved ones of God
Lofty is the calling, magnificent the prospect.
Pressing Pressing are the times in which we have all been summoned to serve.
