Featured in: The Birth of Baha’u’llah
Mirza Husayn-Ali, who is known to the world by His title, Baha’u’llah, was born in Tehran, Iran on 12 November, 1817. Baha’u’llah means “Glory of God” in Arabic and He is the Prophet-Founder of the Baha’i Faith. The anniversary of the day He was born is celebrated alongside the Birth of the forerunner of His Revelation, the Bab. These Twin Holy Days are celebrated annually as one festival where the closely interwoven missions of these two Divine Luminaries are remembered together.
The Trumpet Blast’ is a musical score for a play about the life of Baha’u’llah by that same name. Composed by Nokolai Clavier and performed in Norway to celebrate the Bicentenary anniversary of the Birth of Baha’u’llah, this 14 track instrumental album includes pieces titled ‘Ridvan’, ‘The Heavenly Maid’, and ‘The Mansion of Bahji’, among many others.
Nikolai Clavier’s ‘Trompetstøtet’, or ‘The Trumpet Blast’, premiered in Beitostølen, Norway in July of 2017. Each song accompanies a scene about the life of Baha’u’llah but listening of the soundtrack, even without the dialogue and action of the play, is nevertheless a dramatic experience.
