June 18, 2023 will mark 40 years since 10 Baha’i women were hanged in Shiraz. Their only ‘crime’ was their refusal to renounce their beliefs in a faith that promotes the principles of gender equality, unity, justice, and truthfulness. This collection highlights Baha’i Blog content relating to the ongoing persecution of Baha’is in Iran.
Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Bristol, United Kingdom with Nica who sings “Make Us Rich in Thee” from the Writings of Baha’u’llah.
This song was filmed and recorded in Bristol, United Kingdom, May 2018.
Lyrics & Quote
Glory be to Thee, O God, for Thy manifestation of love to mankind! O Thou Who art our Life and Light, guide Thy servants in Thy way, and make us rich in Thee and free from all save thee. O God, teach us Thy Oneness and give us a realization of Thy Unity, that we may see no one save Thee. Thou art the merciful and the Giver of bounty! O God, create in the hearts of Thy beloved the fire of Thy love, that it may consume the thought of everything save Thee. Reveal to us, O God, Thine exalted eternity — that Thou hast ever been and will ever be, and that there is no God save Thee. Verily, in Thee will we find comfort and strength.

Randomly bursting into song is a daily occurrence for Jordan, something which his friends find both hilarious and terrifying, however, for their own survival, they have grown accustomed to acts of randomness. Growing up in both the Czech Republic and Australia, and looking like he’s from neither, Jordan took to creating Youtube videos from a young age, the intention of his content is to make people happy and hopefully spread some positivity juice. He is now studying Media in Melbourne Australia, and singing for his classmates. (he really does not sing that much)
