Baha’i Blog Studio Sessions is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Stockholm, Sweden with Helene Berg and Sara Vadeghani who sing “Tree of Eternity” from a prayer by Baha’u’llah.
This song was filmed and recorded in Stockholm, Sweden, October, 2018.
Here is the quotation used for the lyrics and the chords below:
Thus doth the nightingale
utter his call unto you from this prison.
Verily He is the Tree
of Life That bringeth forth the fruits of GodHe hath but to deliver this clear message
Whomsoever desireth let him turn aside
Whomsoever desireth let him choose the path
To his LordLo the nightingale of paradise singeth upon the twigs of the Tree.
Of Eternity. And if thou art overtaken by affliction in my path
Be not troubled thereby
Be thou as a flame of fire to my enemies
be not of those who doubt. He hath but to deliver this clear message
Whomsoever desireth let him turn aside
Whomsoever desireth let him choose the path
To his LordLo the nightingale of paradise singeth upon the twigs of the Tree.
Baha’u’llah
Of Eternity.
