- Abdu’l-Baha was the eldest son of Baha’u’llah. When Abdu’l-Baha passed away on 28 November 1921, He was eulogized as One who led humanity to the “Way of Truth,” as a “pillar of peace” and the embodiment of “glory and greatness.”
Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in New York City, USA with Caity Bolton who sings “Truthfulness Is the Foundation” based on a prayer by Abdu’l-Baha.
This song was filmed and recorded in New York City, USA, January 2017.
Lyrics & Quote
Ukweli ndio msingi wa njemaAbdu’l-Baha
zote za binadamu
Ukweli ndio msingi wa njema
zote za binadamu
Bila ukweli, maendeleo na kufaulu
katika malimwengu yote ya Mungu,
haviwezekani kwa roho yoyote.
Truthfulness is the foundation of all human virtues. Without truthfulness, progress and success in all the worlds of God are impossible for any soul.Abdu’l-Baha
