Baha’i Blog is super excited to share that we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary since we launched in Naw-Ruz 2011! (Woohoo!!!)
Over the last 10 years, we’ve been passionately exploring how the Revelation of Baha’u’llah translates into different avenues of media by creating a plethora of Baha’i-inspired content, which we hoped will serve the Baha’i community, and also help raise the profile of the Baha’i Faith online. We hope you’ve enjoyed Baha’i Blog so far, and more importantly, we hope that our work has contributed to your journey and exploration of the wonderful teachings of the Baha’i Faith.
Here’s a brief outline of what Baha’i Blog is all about and some examples of our projects over the last decade: Continue reading
239days.com is a website that chronicles and brings to life the 239 days Abdu’l-Baha traveled across North America. The initiative was originally launched in 2012, to mark the 100th anniversary of Abdu’l-Baha’s travels, and now the site has been updated and relaunched with new features, articles, information, and pictures as this year commemorates the 100th anniversary of His Passing.
I absolutely loved this initiative when it came out, and it was clear that a lot of love, thought, time and research went into the project. When I heard about the relaunch, I got in touch with my dear friend and the executive producer of the project, Shahin Sobhani, to hear more about 239days.com and some of its new updates. Here’s what he had to say: Continue reading
The Baha’i World is an incredible global publication under the direction of the Universal House of Justice. Its first volumes were overseen by Shoghi Effendi, shortly after the start of his ministry as Guardian in 1921. The continuation of The Baha’i World volumes paused for several years but in May 2019, the publication was relaunched online (https://bahaiworld.bahai.org). Most recently the website has been enhanced and it’s definitely worth repeatedly exploring. Continue reading

Perhaps you have seen volumes of The Baha’i World line a bookshelf in a Baha’i home. They are serious and dignified tomes, rich in information about the growth of the Faith, tributes to prominent teachers and promoters of the Cause, and thoughtful commentary. They were first published under the care and supervision of Shoghi Effendi, in the early years of his ministry, and they continued to be published until 2006.
Now The Baha’i World is an online publication. While other websites currently feature sections and the type of information found in older printed volumes, the online platform of The Baha’i World elegantly showcases in-depth articles and thoughtful essays. The site launches with articles that explore various themes such as technology, peace, rural development and agriculture, the emergence of Baha’i Houses of Worship, and humanitarian relief. We set out on this Baha’i Blog journey with an approach of ‘learning through action’, and we continue to meet regularly in order to plan, act and reflect on all the things we’re working on. The last six years have truly been an amazing experience with so many great learnings and so much great feedback and help from both Baha’i Institutions and so many individuals and communities in every part of the world. We are extremely grateful to everyone for their continued encouragement and support over the years!
So far we’ve had over 120 contributors to Baha’i Blog, and we’ve published over 1,060 posts to date. We’ve produced over 100 videos, and over 130 audio recordings including talks, music, and even our very own podcast series with Rainn Wilson.
