Their only ‘crime’ was their refusal to renounce their beliefs in a faith that promotes the principles of gender equality, unity, justice, and truthfulness. The Baha’i Faith is a world religion which believes in the unity of all peoples of the world. Members of the Baha’i Faith are called “Baha’is” which means “follower of Baha’u’llah”, and Baha’is believe that Baha’u’llah is the most recent prophet in a series of divine educators such as Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Christ and Muhammad.
