Abdu’l-Baha was the eldest son of Baha’u’llah. When Abdu’l-Baha passed away on 28 November 1921, He was eulogized as One who led humanity to the “Way of Truth,” as a “pillar of peace” and the embodiment of “glory and greatness.”
In anticipation of this October’s 200th anniversary of the Birth of the Bab, Prophet-herald of the Baha’i Faith, the Baha’is of Ireland are releasing 19 short videos. In this video, the ninth in the series, we learn about how, in July 1848, the Bab was brought from His prison in Chihriq to the city of Tabriz for public examination.
You can find out more about the Bab here, and read selections from the Writings of the Bab here.
