- Abdu’l-Baha was the eldest son of Baha’u’llah. When Abdu’l-Baha passed away on 28 November 1921, He was eulogized as One who led humanity to the “Way of Truth,” as a “pillar of peace” and the embodiment of “glory and greatness.”
This video, shared by the Baha’is of the United States and created by Anne and Tim Perry, tells the story of Sarah Farmer (1847–1916) and her commitment to peace. The video was made for the Sarah Farmer Peace Award program but it will be useful for other occasions related to Sarah Farmer and to the conference centre she founded, Green Acre.
You can find out more about the life and accomplishments of Sarah Farmer online.
To learn more about Anne and Tim Perry, filmmakers who produced Luminous Journey, a documentary about Abdu’l-Baha’s visit to North America, you may wish to listen to the Baha’i Blogcast.
