- Baha’is believe in the power of prayer and you’ll find Baha’is and their friends, throughout the world, getting together to pray. This is often referred to as a ‘devotional gathering’ or ‘devotional meeting’, and they happen in diverse settings, whether in cities or villages.
This video from the Baha’i World News Service (BWNS) shares how, as the wave of global conferences continues to move across the world, more and more people are awakening to the possibilities for serving their society alongside their neighbours and other fellow citizens. At a recent press conference in Tunis, Tunisia, the faith communities of that country signed a jointly prepared “National Pact for Coexistence,” expressing their commitment to nurturing a more peaceful society.
