In this talk given by Mona Khademi at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. (USA), we learn about the life of Laura Clifford Dreyfus-Barney and her connections with Iran and Iranians. Mona discusses Laura’s upbringing and family life, how she heard about the Baha’i Faith, and her travels to Akka and Iran. Mona shares the process behind Laura’s work to compile Some Answered Questions and talks about her marriage to Hippolyte Dreyfus-Barney. In this talk, we also learn about Laura’s long life of service to others which was inspired by the principles of the oneness of humanity, and the equality of women and men.
Mona Khademi is an independent researcher and the director of International Arts Management Consulting in Washington D.C. Through her consulting firm she has promoted global understanding through the exchange of arts and cultural programs for more than 20 years. Her areas of interest include development and management of international, cultural and arts programs.
