June 18, 2023 will mark 40 years since 10 Baha’i women were hanged in Shiraz. Their only ‘crime’ was their refusal to renounce their beliefs in a faith that promotes the principles of gender equality, unity, justice, and truthfulness. The wonderful team behind Bahaiteachings.org have recently released a series of webtalks! In this talk, actor and philanthropist Travis Van Winkle shares his spiritual journey to find meaning in his life and to rid himself of self-doubt, feelings of worthlessness and low self-esteem. Travis recounts how he encountered the Baha’i Faith and began serving others, which gave his life purpose and a sense of happiness.
