Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
This video features an a cappella rendition of a quotation by Baha’u’llah sung live by Elika Mahony and her daughter Amelia. The melody was composed by Devon Gundry.
Here are the words sung:
Armed with the power of Thy name nothing can ever hurt me, and with Thy love in my heart all the world’s afflictions can in no wise alarm me.
