Free #YemeniBahais 2019 – A Video from the Baha’is of the Netherlands

January 10, 2019, in Videos > Documentary, by

In the midst of civil strife, cholera and hunger in the Houthi controlled area in Yemen, a religious community is being persecuted: the Baha’is. This video, produced by the Baha’is of the Netherlands, shares some of the details of this ongoing persecution through the voice of young Dutch children. The video, while in Dutch, has subtitles in English, Persian, Arabic, and German (if you don’t see them, click on the “CC” icon on the bottom right corner of the video).

You can find out more about the situation on the website of the Baha’i International Community: https://www.bic.org/situation-in-yemen/reports-situation-yemen

Thank you very much for the video. The children have had to experience very difficult things in Yemen. It is unbelievable that a child in this day and age in such countries as Yemen – So much must suffer. This is an outrageous and unjust thing to the Baha’i Faith! I have to remember the words Shoghi Effendi! Shoghi Effendi has warned us of these horrible things in the Baha’i Faith. Unfortunately, not only in Yemen, but in the whole world, the Baha’i faith will have a lot to do if humanity becomes aware of the wonderful faith! One is still unaware of this wonderful faith and his spiritual power of Baha’u’llah! We can say once: we were there – and that’s the biggest, even if the Baha’i now have to suffer a lot? We are and were there. This makes the great suffering in the Baha’i Faith a great joyful celebration and lets the suffering with the terrible humanity survive! Good night

Thank you for sharing this video highlighting the ongoing persecution of the Baha’is in Yemen. Prayers and public outcry help.
