Festival of Ridvan

  • Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.

“Aye Jan Feshan” by Behzad Khoshmashrab

May 17, 2016, in Music > Studio Session, by

Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.

In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, Behzad Khoshmashrab chants “Aye Jan Feshan” based on a tablet by Abdu’l-Baha in Persian. In this tablet Abdu’l-Baha expands on the journey of the soul in search of the most Beloved, and among other points He highlights how the manner in which one goes about one’s search impacts the outcome of one’s quest.

This song was filmed and recorded in Melbourne, Australia on 5 May, 2016.

Lyrics & Quote

This Tablet has not been translated into English yet, but we have included the Persian script of the Tablet below:
