Declaration of the Bab

  • In 1844, Siyyid Ali-Muhammad (known by His title, the Bab, which means "the Gate") announced that He was the bearer of a Divine Revelation whose aim was to prepare the world for a Messenger of God--Baha'u'llah. The anniversary of that declaration is celebrated by Baha'is and their friends all over the world.

Limitless Potentialities – Duane’s Story

November 10, 2023, in Videos > Short Film, by

Dr Duane Varan is a multi-award winning academic, entrepreneur and educator, the recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for University Teacher of the Year and CEO of MediaScience, a company that works with every major US TV network.

In this video, Duane traces so much of the success he’s experienced in his career to a single moment of inspiration that transformed his mindset and led to insights that he sought to apply to his own life and work.

If you’d like to read “The Prosperity of Humankind”, the statement from the Baha’i International Community that inspired Duane’s change in thinking.

Duane is also the producer of the Society Builders podcast. He shared with us how he hopes the podcast “will help inspire and empower people to rise to greater heights in their own society building initiatives.”
