Mind & Soul Matters is a podcast from a group of Baha’i friends in Perth, Australia. Through conversations with everyday people, the podcast aims to broaden our understanding of mental health and spirituality, and to deepen our insights into the challenges and meaning of our lives.
We wanted to learn more about the podcast so we interviewed its creators Maya Rose, Farah Feeney and Nasim Kasiri and learned how Mind & Soul Matters was launched in 2021 as a means of contributing to the public discourse around mental health.
In this episode, we hear from Fiona McDonald, a relationship educator with decades of professional and personal experience in relationships. She shares her insights on how we can create healthy relationships within the family. Healthy relationships can be the foundation of good mental health and resilience. Fiona outlines some of the ingredients of such relationships, highlighting what constitutes the foundation of good relationships, how we can strengthen our relationships within our busy lives, simultaneously respecting the rights of the individual and the family, and what we can do if we find our relationship has moved away from our ideal.
Mind & Soul Matters is available online and on all major podcasting platforms.
