Mind & Soul Matters is a podcast from a group of Baha’i friends in Perth, Australia. Through conversations with everyday people, the podcast aims to broaden our understanding of mental health and spirituality, and to deepen our insights into the challenges and meaning of our lives.
We wanted to learn more about the podcast so we interviewed its creators Maya Rose, Farah Feeney and Nasim Kasiri and learned how Mind & Soul Matters was launched in 2021 as a means of contributing to the public discourse around mental health.
In this episode, Malini Parker, a self-confessed scientist turned artist, shares with us how creativity helped her through her struggles, including her battle with chronic fatigue syndrome, her husband’s journey with terminal cancer and her daughter’s prolonged life-challenging disorder. Malini inspires us to tap into the magic and mystery of creativity present in our life.
Mind & Soul Matters is available online and on all major podcasting platforms.
