Mind & Soul Matters is a podcast from a group of Baha’i friends in Perth, Australia. Through conversations with everyday people, the podcast aims to broaden our understanding of mental health and spirituality, and to deepen our insights into the challenges and meaning of our lives.
We wanted to learn more about the podcast so we interviewed its creators Maya Rose, Farah Feeney and Nasim Kasiri and learned how Mind & Soul Matters was launched in 2021 as a means of contributing to the public discourse around mental health.
In this special episode of the Mind & Soul Matters podcast, host Farah Feeney sits down with musician Shameem Taheri-Lee to discuss her music, how it reflects and shapes her life, and how we can all use music as a ladder for the soul. A big thank you to Farah and Shameem for letting us come along to film the interview!
You can find more of Shameem Taheri-Lee’s music on her website.
Mind & Soul Matters is available online and on all major podcasting platforms.
