Ridvan, also known as the Most Great Festival, celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in the garden of Ridvan on the outskirts of Baghdad in 1863 when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
Wishing you all a very happy (LEGO!!) Ridvan, on this lovely 9th Day of the Festival of Ridvan!
We asked five kids to express Ridvan using the power of Lego blocks and it turned out to be a very fun little project for all concerned! Big thanks to everyone who participated!
This is definitely something we’ll do again in the future, with an open call for others to participate. Hope you enjoy the pictures and get some inspo for your own creative projects to celebrate Holy Days!
