Singer and songwriter Shadi Toloui-Wallace, her mother Shidan Toloui-Wallace, and Shadi’s studio band performed the song ‘Fire Tablet’ on September 24th, 2016 at The York Theatre in East Vancouver, Canada as part of her album release concert for Daughters of the Kingdom.
We were so thrilled when Daughters of the Kingdom came out; Shadi’s talents were in full bloom on her other albums but they are exquisitely showcased here. We spoke with Shadi about Daughters of the Kingdomin this interview. We’ve also interviewed her incredibly talented mother, Shidan, and you can read our conversation here. Shadi also beautifully expressed her thoughts in her Baha’i Blog article, Making “Non-Secular” Music in a “Secular” World.
