Abdu’l-Baha was the eldest son of Baha’u’llah. When Abdu’l-Baha passed away on 28 November 1921, He was eulogized as One who led humanity to the “Way of Truth,” as a “pillar of peace” and the embodiment of “glory and greatness.”
Omid Gollmer is a musician based in Stuttgart, Germany. In commemoration of the bicentenary of the Birth of Baha’u’llah, he created several videos where he put excerpts from the Baha’i Writings to music. The video series is titled “The Nightingale Sessions”. In this video, Omid and Irena sing one of Baha’u’llah’s Hidden Words in German.

Here is the quotation sung in German, followed by its English translation:
“O Sohn des Geistes! Mit der freudigen Botschaft des Lichtes grüße Ich dich: Freue dich! Zum Hofe der Heiligkeit rufe Ich dich: Wohne darin, damit du ewig in Frieden lebest!”
– Baha’u’llah
“O SON OF SPIRIT! With the joyful tidings of light I hail thee: rejoice! To the court of holiness I summon thee; abide therein that thou mayest live in peace for evermore.”
– Baha’u’llah
